I have been coaching individuals for five years and hold a postgraduate certificate in personal and business coaching and am also a trained career coach.
I use a variety of different psychological approaches including positive psychology and transactional analysis (TA) which is a widely recognised form of modern psychology that uses tools designed to promote personal growth and change. It is considered helpful for improving well-being and for helping individuals to reach their full potential in all aspects of their lives.
Additionally, I have trained in the area of bereavement and loss and hold certificates in basic and intermediate counselling skills.
I have eighteen years’ health management experience gained in the NHS and within mental health and primary care services. Within these roles I managed a variety of diverse teams and have regularly used coaching skills to help motivate both individuals and teams.
I am passionate about the benefits that coaching can give to individuals and enjoy helping support my clients through challenging times they may face when encountering change and the uncertainty that comes with this.
My coaching style is warm and approachable, creating a safe space for my clients to be open and honest and to explore their strengths and blocks that are holding them back from achieving their goals. I enjoy building a strong working alliance with clients, helping them build confidence and motivation to work through the challenges of change.
